The Greetings Message is the first piece of information a user sees when they open the chat window. Many Shopify stores cater to customers who speak different languages. While HeiChat can automatically reply in the user's language, a non-English speaking customer who sees an English-only Greetings message might be less likely to start a conversation.
To solve this, we've enabled automatic translation for the Greetings message. This feature is now available for all membership levels.
You only need to set up your Greetings message in a single language. Our AI will then automatically translate it based on the customer's default browser language settings. This ensures your customers see a fully localized Greetings message, creating a more inviting experience from the very first moment.
